Come around for a talk in Stirling on 1 June
Just a quick update today, but I have good news for all people who follow my blog in Scotland. As part of another iRIDE event I am doing a talk on my latest adventure next Wednesday, 1 June at macrobert in Stirling. We will screen a classic documentary about the Tour De France first, Hell on Wheels, and afterwards I will do a quick wrap up of my personal experiences cycling back to Germany on a road bike, unsupported with only a saddle bag to live out for a week.
There will be some pictures, and many stories from the road, so if you’re interested, please come around. The film costs £6, a bargain, and is about 2hrs long, so I will be starting around 9.30pm with the talk in macrobert’s filmhouse. Feel free to come around for talk and film, but you can come for the talk only as well. There is some time afterwards to exchange some thoughts as well, I need to catch the train to Edinburgh at 11. The talk will be free, but if you like it, I am more than happy about donations for the charities I raise money for, but first and foremost I would like to share my thoughts. Tickets can be booked at 01786 466666 or at www.macrobert.org/iride, or just come around for the night. Hope to see you there!
