As with any Swobo bike, expect it to be different and niche. Swobo creates demand other than responding to it. Thats is no different with the Accomplice. The bike is the perfect fit for getting around town and beyond with fun, and that for a pretty competitive price. The geometry and spec make it a perfect allrounder that can swallow potholes, tram lines, gravel and whatever else you encounter in the UK, while looking very good at that. In three words: The perfect commuter.

Inspiration for the Sunday before Christmas. This route from Gravel Rides Cairngorms and Perthshire takes you through the Black Wood of Rannoch, and ancient Caledonian pine woodland on the shores of Loch Rannoch. It is a route of two halves - first meandering through a beautiful forest, before you emerge onto much more open ground. The route starts at a carpark on the shores of Loch Rannoch, but can also be accessed by taking the train to Rannoch Station and starting from there. We have three more routes to share with you, and look forward to work on the next stage of the publishing process - and the release in a few months.

Today's featured route is a classic. The Burma Road loop in the book takes you from Aviemore to Carrbridge and then over the highest point at 689m back to Aviemore. The climb from the Carrbridge side is less steep - but still quite epic. The views though ....Another fab route if you base yourself at Ravenscraig Guest House

Today's route from the new book starts and finishes in Aviemore and takes you to Ryvoan Bothy - the perfect lunch stop. But there is much more to see on the route, which takes you past the Green Lochan and through stunning Caledonian Pine Forests. A big thanks to Ravenscraig Guest House for hosting us for two nights - they have amazing facilities for bikes & yummy breakfasts!
