I am still working on finishing the remaining episodes of my video blogs from my round the world trip, but as I have recently spent a lot of time back in Germany, I was itching to cut this episode of my trip.
And here it is, the first part, riding from the Austrian border near Salzburg over Munich, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Lohr, Bad Brückenau, Ilmenau and Eisenach to Schwobfeld, where I grew up in my teens in Germany. A bit different from the other countries, it was nice to see my home country from a different point of view. I truly enjoyed the many climbs, the magnificent views, the hospitality of the locals, and of course, meeting my family back home after 30,500km around the world. You can travel with me through Germany in this video, and I would recommend putting Germany on your list of things to do. Worth it, but judge yourself!
